Spring Storms

The garden is fortunate to have weathered the recent tornadoes with minimum damage. Our volunteers were out in force early taking care of the work that needed to be done. So many people have lost their homes and belongings, the Garden is a great way for families and individuals to find a piece of "normal" in such stressful times.
This week the New Member tour will be held on Thursday and Saturday at the Boeing Education Center.  RSVP to Laura Snider at lsnider@hsvbg.org or 256 830-4447 ext 229.
Saturday the nation's largest butterfly house comes to life again! Enjoy a light breakfast with us as the Butterfly House opens for Breakfast with the Butterflies.  This annual event is a fun time with breakfast, butterfly releases, and fun activities for all ages.  The Breakfast is $10 from 9-9:30 or 10-10:30, Join us!
We're doing something new this year!  The Garden Art Stroll from 9-2 pm is having its first annual Art Stroll around Constitution Walk.  Robert Taylor will be one of our featured artists.  The treehouses will be up and fun for the whole family!
